Buck MacMillan – Director of Finance

Started with Evans Glass in March 2008 as the Director of Finance for the company.  I have been in the Finance industry for over 10 years and was originally  with one of the Finance companies that we do business with.  We have one of the most aggressive finance programs in the industry.  We work with multiple different lenders that have amazing programs to offer our customers.   With the resources that we have we have been able to find financing for over 95% of our customers since I have come aboard.  My goal in 2008 is to bring on even lenders to assist us in finding financing for all of our customer.  Thus far it has been amazing working for this exceptional company and continue to help the company grow and help them get the windows the deserve.

Go Green With Evans Glass!

Thursday, June 26th, 2008

Evans Glass has developed into an exterior envelope insulation specialist over its 31 year journey. We manufacture and provide energy efficient maintenance free Eco sustainable products for your home. Our products are earth friendly and have been designed to encompass a healthy home. Our bio diversified energy smart products reduce greenhouse gas, energy consumption and promote a healthy environment for the future of our families. Besides trying to make our products better, we try to order as many recycled and/or recyclable products to use here in our offices. Several months ago we went cup-less. Meaning we stopped ordering paper cups and required everyone to bring their own cup from home to use everyday. We’re constantly trying to come up with new ideas to reduce our carbon foot print.  Any suggestions or input how we could further do that, drop us a comment on the blog.

Thanks!

Puget Sound Blood Center Blood Drive

Friday, June 13th, 2008

On June 6th, 2008, we had a blood drive and it was an amazing success! We had several people from each department donate their time and their blood! We reached our goal of having 25 people donate and 24 of them were first time blood donors! It was wonderful for everyone to be so cooperate and give to such a great cause. Our corporate office is actually right next to the Puget Sound Blood Center’s material management center and we had to use some of their parking spots to put the bus on, so big props to them for letting us their space! We get such a sense of reward and satisfaction in being able to help out people in our community!  We will probably schedule another one for the fall so we’ll keep you posted you want to come down and donate to such a worthy cause.: ) Take a look at our charity events tab on our main page to check out the wonderful letter our representative from the blood bank wrote to us. If you know any other charity events that are near and dear to you that we should participate in, leave us a comment and next time you have your favorite charity event you might see something for it posted right here on our blog. Take care! ;o)
