Collaboration

Friday, July 31st, 2009

The work environment at Evans Glass is one of collaboration and team work.  We all work together to move a project from start to finish as quickly and smoothly as possible.  This can sometimes be challenging but with the cooperation of everyone, we can navigate any problem and create an outcome that makes everyone happy!

An outstanding life

An outstanding life it is to work for a good company that puts its employees and customers first.  Smiles and laughs as we continue to drive for success.

Tried to stay cool

Friday, July 31st, 2009

The weather has been so hot, and today we got up to 106 degrees.  The canvassers still got out there and did their job.  We spoke to as many home owners as possible, and tried to stay cool.  This is one of the hottest months that I can remember here in Oregon, but our windows have proved to do the job.  On the outside it was 106, but on the inside the glass was the same temperature as the air conditioned room, 70 degrees and perfect.  That’s why our windows are the best.

90 degree heat

Friday, July 31st, 2009

Our festivals staff performed valiantly in the 90 degree heat this weekend!

kudos

Friday, July 31st, 2009

~It’s supposed to be scorching hot all throughout the week. Kudos to our diligent canvassers and sales rep’s who have to work in these dry weather conditions.

Just make sure you all stay geared up, with ice cold water and a portable fan~ JKudosJ

Re-arranging

Friday, July 31st, 2009

We re-arranged the office over the weekend. There is a whole new vibe in this room.

It makes the seattle office run a lot smoother. I look forward to other ways we can revamp the marketing department.

It hasn’t been done ever since we moved into this building!

Try not to melt away

Well it’s going to be a HOT week to say the least, try to stay cool and drink lots and lots of water. Try not to melt away!

Camas Day Fair

Tuesday, July 28th, 2009

Wooo What a hot day it is here in Portland!!!  Our AC is broken so it is super hot here in the office but hey… at least the sun is shinin’!  This last weekend we attended the Camas Days Fair and were very excited about the turn out!  With an amazing team to withstand the heat and still undeniably give our products and services a good name, we couldn’t be any happier!  Way to go team!

Caulking

Tuesday, July 28th, 2009

Painting your caulking after installation really helps extend the life of your seal.  Painted sealant should never need to be replaced.  Sealant that has not been painted is subject to UV deterioration and would probably need maintenance every 5 years.

Not only will you stay cooler, but also save money!

Tuesday, July 28th, 2009

It is suppose to be another hot weekend. So many people waste money on air conditioning because of drafty windows that let all the cool air escape from their house. Why not get new windows that will help seal your house and keep the cool air in? Not only will you stay cooler, but also save money!
