We always like to say that Mondays are a excellent day for the Evans Glass Event Department. Why because Home shows, Festivals and Fairs usually finish up on Sundays. This weekend finished up with three shows with the biggest and the best being ”The Portland Home And Improvement Remodeling Show”. As Fall kicks in most people want to get in Home remodeling projects such as new Windows for their home. Putting in new windows before Winter sets in is one of the most energy savings cost that Home owners can do. So before this winter blast sets in consider checking out any and all remodeling shows and check out Evans Glass for all your Windows, Doors, Gutters and Siding needs.

 Well the Puyallup Fair is finally over and for those of you who had a chance to go I hope you had a great time, if you didn’t get  to go this year then there’s always next year to look forward too. Have a great day!!!    :0)  

What a great 18 day run we had at the Puyallup fair!  Thanks to all the show staff who worked as a team to make sure we always had a smiling, enthusiastic representative in the 2 booths.

As a manager here at Evans the single biggest joy is to watch people evolve into more confident and assertive people.  To see people grow right in front of your face, and to be a part of that is priceless!!!

Evans Glass is still growing strong.  We have an amazing group of people who work here, in all departments.  It is a very family friendly environment, and I am glad to be a part of it all.

The sunny days are getting shorter, the air is getting cooler, the leaves are falling, vacations are over and the kids are back in school.  It is home improvement time!

In our admin department, we are given the opportunity to cross-train into other jobs in our department. This can be beneficial because if a person is gone, all the work still gets done, and jobs still get processed. I personally like this cross-training policy because I learn about each part of the process from ordering to sending customers thank you letters after all the work has been completed.

I am constantly in amazement of the quality of Evan’s Glass’ products. From Bamboo obscured glass windows to elegant vintage style French doors, we seem to have exactly what each individual homeowner needs. I get plenty of calls from previous customers applauding the aesthetics of their windows. I have found, working here, that as soon as we install one of our customer’s windows, we will shortly receive a call from one of their excited neighbors. They tend to be just as passionate about making there home as eye-catching as their neighbors, as they are about saving lots of money on their heating bill every month. When you put as much heart into our windows as we do, you tend to see people going out of their way to call and let us know their satisfaction.
