Today was a good day for the home show department. We just got through having the Salem home and Remodeling show. The leads were great. With the home show season almost over the stores will see a increase in customers and that means more business for Evans Glass and their employees.

After a installation team was out  sick this week, our remaining teams really pitched in to make sure that our customers were taken care of and that the services, measures and installations were handled. They show grace and skill under pressure. Whether it was jumping on installations at the least minute or rescheduling a service they did a great job.

I’ve been at Evan’s Glass for almost a year now and through that time, our customer service has gone from okay to amazing! All the team works really hard to stay on top of all e-mails and phone calls they get and are great about calling back customers. They are also extremely knowledgeable about Evan’s and our products.  The three of them have also spread out their schedules so someone from customer service is here from 7:30 am-5pm Monday thru Friday. I’m sure if you had questions or concerns they could help you out.

Did you know that when most of our customers’ windows are measured, they never know that the measurements have been taken?  It’s true!  Our installers are so quick and efficient with their measurements that even if customers are at home, they often don’t even notice that the measurements for their windows have been taken by our skilled installers. 

Why do we do it this way instead of scheduling appointments with our customers?  There are two main reasons. First, it makes the whole window-buying experience with Evans Glass go faster by not having to work around busy customer schedules. The whole process from contract signing to installation can be sped up by taking measurements in this way, often by several days or even weeks!  Secondly, it doesn’t inconvenience our customers by requiring them to take time off work to meet with our installers.  The measurement of your windows only takes a few minutes per window, so our installers can stop by, measure the windows, and be on their way.  Usually without you ever knowing they’ve been there!
